Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) is playing a pivotal role in shaping India’s next-generation railway infrastructure. The company delivers technologically advanced and environmentally sustainable projects. These efforts enhance connectivity, strengthen the logistics backbone, and accelerate regional economic growth.
RVNL remains a critical execution partner for Indian Railways. This is vital as India advances one of the world’s largest rail and transport modernization agendas. Reaffirmed SC Jain, Chairman and Managing Director, during his visit to the company’s pavilion at the 16th International Railway Equipment Exhibition (IREE 2025).
Jain highlighted RVNL’s engineering excellence in implementing complex, large-scale projects within accelerated timelines. “The stall showcases scaled models of key national assets such as the Pamban Bridge reconstruction, the cable-stayed Anji Khad Bridge, and the Rishikesh–Karnaprayag Tunnel Boring Machine — all representing RVNL’s capacity to integrate precision engineering, digital construction tools, and sustainable design,” he noted.
Through its participation in IREE 2025, RVNL aims to reinforce its technological leadership and project management capabilities. This has enabled it to deliver over 410 infrastructure projects valued at more than ₹1.4 lakh crore. The company emphasised that its current portfolio spans high-speed rail corridors, metro systems, doubling and electrification works, and freight corridors. And it aligns with Indian Railways’ Net Zero 2030 roadmap.
“RVNL’s ongoing innovation and strong execution capabilities continue to make it an essential enabler of India’s modern, smart, and sustainable transportation ecosystem,” Jain added.
Officials stated that RVNL’s sustained focus on green construction practices—such as use of energy-efficient equipment, solar-powered stations, and recycled materials—supports national sustainability goals. The company’s growing footprint in metro and international markets further underscores its evolution from an executing agency to an integrated infrastructure player driving the next phase of rail mobility.
