Thermax Ltd. has partnered with HydrogenPro, a Norwegian company, to indigenize alkaline electrolyzers for green hydrogen projects in India.

Thermax will also engineer and manufacture key systems and balance-of-plant components for integration with HydrogenPro’s stacks, according to a press release.

Strategic partnership:

Thermax and HydrogenPro are collaborating to bring large-scale green hydrogen production capabilities to India.

The partnership focuses on localizing the manufacturing and deployment of alkaline electrolyzers, which are crucial for producing green hydrogen.

Thermax will offer a complete package, including electrolyzer supply, project execution (EPC basis), and ongoing support for green hydrogen plants.

The collaboration aims to support the growing green hydrogen market in India, which is expected to play a vital role in the energy transition.

The technology and solutions are available immediately for ongoing green hydrogen projects in India.

It must be noted that HydrogenPro brings proven electrolyzer technology that fully complies with international standards and certifications. Its in-house expertise in advanced electrode development and coating serves as a key enabler for delivering high-efficiency systems.
