Exide Industries has become India’s first battery manufacturer to embrace green logistics.

In a pioneering move towards green logistics and sustainability, Exide has integrated LNG-powered trucking into its logistics operations.

The initiative is a part of Exide’s commitment to reduce its carbon footprint and enhance the sustainability of its entire supply chain.

Exide has partnered with GreenLine Mobility Solutions to implement a green logistics solution that reduces Scope-3 emissions while ensuring efficient and reliable transportation.

Exide adoption of LNG-powered vehicles, demonstrates green logistics sector transformation, thereby setting a new standard in green logistics. GreenLine’s fleet covers 1200 km per tank, reducing carbon emissions and ensuring long-haul requirements, the companies said in a press release.

By embracing LNG-powered trucking, Exide is not just meeting regulatory demands but also positioning itself as a leader in green innovation within the logistics space.
