Assent Inc. has announced its new innovation & technology center in Pune.
The Pune center’s core focus will be on advancing sustainable supply chain solutions and developing tools for ethical sourcing, compliance, and sustainability reporting. It will also spearhead AI-powered risk intelligence and drive platform scalability to enhance user experience and accelerate innovation.
The new center, led by Manoj C. Patil, VP of Engineering, Managing Director, and Center Head of Assent India, will be a hub for regional product innovation, advanced analytics, and AI insights. It will also provide 24/7 platform delivery and global customer service, strengthening the company’s commitment to its worldwide clientele.
These efforts are designed to fortify Assent’s platform, helping global manufacturers navigate increasingly complex regulatory demands and supply chain challenges.
According to the press release, Pune was chosen for its deep pool of technical talent, strong academic institutions, and thriving technology ecosystem. The city’s proximity to several of Assent’s key customers is also expected to foster effective collaboration and faster feedback loops.
