Bristow Group Inc., a global provider of vertical flight solutions, released its 2024 Sustainability Report on May 20, 2025, detailing advancements in safety, sustainability, and community engagement.

“Our mission continues to prioritize safety, sustainability, and positive community impact,” said Chris Bradshaw, President and CEO, Bristow. He said that the report underscores the company’s commitment to sustainable business practices, operational safety, and strengthened community ties.

Safety remained a paramount concern, with Bristow reporting a 32% reduction in lost workdays in 2024. The company’s UK Search and Rescue (SAR) team performed 2,870 missions, rescuing 470 individuals.

The company also expanded its SAR operations into Ireland, complementing existing mandates in the Netherlands, the Dutch Caribbean, and the Falkland Islands, thereby expanding its critical role in community safety.

In a move towards sustainable aviation, Bristow secured an agreement to purchase 10 Leonardo AW189 super-medium helicopters, with options for 10 more. These aircraft are expected to offer environmental benefits through reduced COâ‚‚ emissions and compatibility with sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Furthermore, Bristow Norway signed a letter of intent to join an international test arena for zero- and low-emission aviation in Norway, indicating future innovation in the sector. The company also achieved ISO 14001 certification for its Ireland operations.

Bristow emphasized its commitment to ethical leadership, implementing a new human rights supplier commitment process in Norway, which is slated for global expansion in 2025. The company also proactively adopted a generative AI policy to ensure responsible use of the emerging technology while protecting ethical standards and intellectual property.

Through its “Bristow Uplift” initiative, the company donated over $600,000 in 2024, directly supporting local communities and reaffirming its role as a responsible corporate citizen.
